With the presence of Spring in Spain, I have taken the opportunity to do a lot of travelling over the past month. A few weeks ago, I took advantage of a long weekend to travel to Seville. Even though I was in Seville for my orientation back in September, my orientation was only two days long, and we had no free time to explore the city. Therefore, I wanted to properly see the capital city of the province where I live.
A fun Peruvian surprise inside a museum building.

Plaza de Espana
The following weekend, Jakota and I took a trip to Cadiz to celebrate Carnival. We found matching bird onesies and I used some makeup skills to paint our faces. We had a lot of fun listening to different bands playing music all throughout the city. On our way back to Almeria, we stopped in Seville to do a little more sight-seeing. We got the chance to tour the bullfighting ring in Seville, which is one of the things I did not get the chance to see the previous week.
Plaza de Torros
A few weeks later, I took a ride with my other roommate, Isabel, to Malaga. She dropped me off at the bus station since she travels to Malaga every weekend to see her family. I spent a fun weekend sight-seeing and exploring all that the birthplace of Pablo Picasso had to offer, including a museum of his childhood home, and an impressive gallery of his artwork.
Yesterday, Jakota and I took a day trip to a small town outside of Almeria. The town, Mojacar, also known as the white village, is an interesting small town that has an interesting history.
